It’s no surprise that Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid continues to top the bestseller lists this week—in fact, three of the eight titles in this round-up are from that hockey romance series. It’s hard to overstate the popularity of the adaptation. If you can’t get enough of Ilya and Shane, Rachel Reid has a sequel about them coming out in September that’s available to preorder now: Unrivaled.

This list continues to lack of diversity on many levels, including being disproportionately by white authors. Some Indie Bestsellers you should know about are James by Percival Everett, One Day, Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, and Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This by Omar El Akkad (the #1 Nonfiction Indie Bestseller this week).

To get these numbers, we look at the New York Times , both Combined Print & E-Book Fiction and Combined Print & E-Book Nonfiction lists; Amazon Charts, both Fiction and Nonfiction; Publishers Weekly; USA Today; and Indie Bestsellers, Fiction and Nonfiction, both Paperback and Hardcover.
