Today, we’re introducing two additions to The Generalist: the Deal Club and Reading Club! Every week, we’ll share the most interesting startups we’ve discovered, and our favorite recent reads.
Our mission at The Generalist is to make you a deeper thinker, better builder, and sharper investor. The Deal Club and Reading Club are new, interactive ways to do that as part of this community. These clubs are exclusively for paying subscribers, so if you’ve been on the fence, now is a great time to join and jump in.
Here’s how it will work:
Reading Club. Every Friday, I’ll share the most interesting articles, books, and podcasts I discovered that week. As well as sharing my picks, I invite you to share yours! We’ll all enter the weekend with curated, high-quality information to dig into. The goal is to find new ideas, hear from other hyper-intelligent people, and get visibility into new, trusted information sources. It will also simply be fun :)
Deal Club. Every Monday, I’ll share the most interesting startups and funding rounds I discovered the week before. I’d love to hear your thoughts and any companies you’ve recently found interesting. The goal is to introduce members to high-potential startups early, sharpen our theses through conversation, and discover new opportunities. You’ll get a chance to compare notes with other investors, operators, and founders.

How to get started
